I've decided to be more mindful of my crocheting and keep track of the projects I'm working on. Sometimes I'll start a project, put it down and not go back to it for months. By then I've forgotten what I was doing (the stitch, count, the yarn, what hook I was using, was I on gauge, etc.). This journal helps me keep track of all of that plus more. This is a nice journal. The cover is a hardcover. Looks like recycled material. The spiral is nice there's no spiral at the end with a sharp edge. The pages are thick and sturdy a little bit of an off-white/cream color to make it look antique. Plenty of space to put notes, its college-ruled. Each project has 1-page front and back, 198-pages. I did kinda wince at the price for a journal but this has everything I need, it's spiral, hard-cover and it looks really nice and will last years. The only thing I would add is a general notes page for non-project related information. So I can write down which seam stitch I like and why, track which stitch I've tried, whether I like it and what project I think it would work well with, things like that. It already has 198 pages why not make it an even 200. I decided to add that info to the back of the very first page.

Except for the omission of a general notes page this is a wonderful journal and I'll be purchasing another one for future, future use.

My journal just came yesterday and I'm so excited to start using it! No longer will my knitting patterns be marked up with notes about the custom sizes & changes made for each project that I'll have to decipher later on. Thank you for your wide variety of topics.
