We are heartbroken that this journal has been discontinued. My daughter is an avid journalist and absolutely loved this journal. In fact, for a present I had 2 journal covers made with photos she had taken. She has at least 8 of them that she refers to from year to year to predict bird migration, bird sightings and daily journaling from walks she takes in northern Michigan and on nature trips to other parts of the US. Her now 2 year old daughter has a notebook she “writes” in when Mommy journals. It would be fun to continue the journals for another generation! Please think about bringing them back! We miss them!

Several years ago we bought 3 nature journals and will buy a 4th one now that the younger child can read and write. We use them at home to record different wildlife we see and we take the journals with us when we go hiking or camping. Searched everywhere for something like this and couldn’t find anything like this anywhere.
Drawback is that the list of questions does not have a line for the location, which is really important when recording info about wildlife. The other drawback is that they’re a bit heavy to carry in a backpack, it would be nice if the covers were slightly thinner for this specific journal – maybe have both options available a thin cover and the traditional cover.
