This book is awesome, I gave it as a gift to my daughter who has the International Travel Bug. She takes it everywhere she goes and keeps notes in it regarding her journeys. I am online today to order another one for a neighbor girl who will be traveling internationally as a teacher.

I just ordered my second journal. I completed my first one last month, I started it on the trip where my husband proposed to me 10 years ago. It is so much fun to go back and read about the places we have visited and the fun we had. It is also a good reference to look upon when I can’t remember the name of a hotel or a specific place. Its a great journal. I bought one for my friend’s daughter who is going to Australia next year.

We received the Traveler’s Journal as a wedding present in 2010 and started journaling on our honeymoon. We’re currently on our seventh travel journal. Journaling everything you do on vacation is so helpful. The more details you write down, the more you’ll remember in the future. I’ve added sunrise/sunset and track miles when we’re driving. The prompts are very helpful. Since we love our travel journals, we give them as wedding gifts as well.

I have a vacation rental cottage. I recently bought this journal and decided to leave it on the coffee table with a note suggesting guests fill out a page and leave it for us and other guests to read about their experiences. I suggest they take a photo of their filled-out page for their own keepsake. So far, 2 of 4 guests have done it, which I think shows there’s interest. The 2 that have been done are wonderful!!! So much fun reading about our guests’ adventures, and it gives us clues as to what activities, restaurants, etc. are popular. It also can serve as a guide to future guests for fun things to do in the area. Love it!
